Title
Lullington parish transcripts and local history notes
Date
early 20th cent
Description
These notes were found in the Record Office and accessioned in December 1965. Their authorship is unknown, but they appear to be in the hand of Col J R Colvile of Lullington. They comprise transcripts from public records, diocesan registers and other records, parish records, and from private information. Although the great majority relate to Lullington, there are also references to nearby villages such as Coton in the Elms. It is possible these were Colvile's working notes towards a history of Lullington.
