| Arrangement | The photographs in this collection were not in their original order. A similar quantity of photographs to those already at Derbyshire Record Office were also held at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery as part of the police artefact collection. In November 2023, the photographs from both collection were amalgamated, sorted and arranged into the following categories:
