Archive Creator	Eyam Parish Council
Administrative History	Eyam Parish Council was established under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1894. It helped to provide local public amenities and services such as street lighting, recreation grounds, footpaths and public seating, as well as liaise with other local authorities over proposals or issues that might concern the area.
Custodial History	These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office by the various clerks to the Parish Council in September 1985, November 2003, Decemeber 2006, February 2008, May 2009, May 2011 and October 2018.
