Description
The minutes of 14 April 1970 record that the school became state-aided in 1870, and also that the minute books date back to 1820.
The minutes of the 27 April 1971 record the decision to lock the old minute books in the Parish Council safe.
The minutes of 12 July 1983 records that the school building reverts to the posession of the Parish Church when the school closed, in line with an agreement with Derbyshire County Council from 1931.
