Letter - Anthony Ferne to Thomas Stonne in Carsington - Richard Wigley tells him that Stonne caused Wigley to arrest Booth in Mr Gell's court where he was `rescussed' [?rescued] by Mr Gell and others and smitten by them - his wife says that half a dozen met him in the market stead and drew upon him and if he had not run home, they would have slain him - they hewed his door with their swords - Ferne wishes to know the truth of the matter as he says Gell wronged him in his speeches, 29 Dec
