Deed of exchange between Jonathan Coape of Heanor yeoman, and Robert Coape of Spondon, yeoman, his brother by which Jonathan has granted to Robert a close or parcel of land in Spondon lying below Flaxhill commonly called the Bows Close, a close in Spondon called Holme Furrow, parcel of ground in the Burrow Field on Marlpitt Shutt, 2 roods in the same field on the top of the Hill, one rood in the same furlong, 5 lands in another field called the Derby Field at or near a place called Stanbridge and one rood in a field called the Brook Field cutting upon Hall Croft, in exchange for a messuage in Heanor now or late in the tenure of William Heywood, the Gorsey Closes (11 acres), the Holes at the north end of Hassock Lane (2½
acres) and the Well Croft in Langley (4 acres). 9 April
