Title
Deed of covenant between Nicholas Hurt and Elizabeth his wife, sister and heir of John Lowe of Alderwasley; their children and Henry Balguy of Hope reciting the will of John Lowe, 1 Oct 1788, of which Henry Balguy one of the devisees - now agreed between all the parties that Balguy should convey and surrender the property as follows:- Copyhold messuages lands, etc of John Lowe in Holmesfield, reversion of property in Matlock (immediately after decease of Elizabeth Turner) to use of Francis Hurt messuage and farm in Alderwasley in occupation of Richard Smith (£12 rt), messuage farm in occupation ofAnthony Symson (£5), John Byard (£22 rt), Richard Spencer (£4 rt), John Potter(£3 15s), John Hanson (£8), Thomas Pickard (30s), Walter Fletcher (£3), George Allen (£10), ? Barton (30s), widow Hanson (£6), tenement in occupation ofRobert Smith (24s), to use of Anthony Hurt.
