Description
Baptisms; 1573 – 1637, marriages; 1573 – 1637, burials; 1573- 1635. There are no entries between July 1592 and January 1600. The baptism entry of Raphe Breten, son of William Breten, 13 December 1601 includes a signed undertaking by Edward Arnfeld to indemnify the parish if Raphe Breten should become chargeable to the parish. At the end of the register is a memorandum of a bequest of £40 for the benefit of parish poor, made 2 Aug 1606 and a memorandum of the statement of Richard Palfreman concerning the “Letting” of the townstock, 13 Jan 1644.
