Administrative History
Derbyshire came within the diocese of Lichfield until 1884 when it was transferred to the diocese of Southwell. Following The Diocese of Southwell (Division) Measure, 1923 the Diocese of Derby was established by Order in Council in July 1927.

Acquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1981.
