Administrative History
The Mackie family ran a woollen drapers at the Wardwick in Derby from the late 1880s. By 1895 the business was known as the Leeds Woollen Cloth Company. It was incorporated as a limited company in 1932 under the direction of members of the Mackie family. In 1980 the company went into voluntary liquidation.
Custodial History
These records were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office in September 1980 on behalf of Leeds Woollen Cloth Company Ltd when it went in voluntary liquidation.
