According to the initial medical board report dated 30 December 1948 he was able to continue light work with the aid of a truss. He appealed against the decision on 1 January 1949 of the 3 per cent assessment final for life. The representative's notes state (undated) prior to the tribunal hearing 'man who has attended work reg. prev to acd. 4 children.' On appeal, date 27 April 1949, the tribunal made a provisional assessment of 15 per cent for 7 months. |
