This was reduced to 5 per cent by a Medical Appeal Tribunal. Special Hardship had been paid from 12 November 1952 and was disallowed from 23 September 1959. He was working on 'general duties' at a wage lower than his previous one (at least £3 below). A specialists's report was sought and aupported the view that the loss of faculty 'is not giving rise to incapacity for his regular occupation.'At the hearing on 3 December 1959 the tribunal found against the claimant. |
