A Medical Board assessed the loss of faculty at 2 per cent for life on 3 June 1958. Special Hardship Allowance was paid from 6 March 1957 (after injury benefit ended) until 8 July 1958. Pre-accident wages were on average £18 1s 8d and his post-accident work as a conveyor operator were approximately £10 1s 0d per week. The tribunal found in favour of the claimant on 12 August 1958. There is a handwritten note on the decision letter dated 13 August 1958 that says 'Also Med app. Feb/58.' |
