The notes on the Report of Proceedings include 'Claimant says he would go stripping if he was fit. He's tried and been brought off the coal face so many times the manager won't let him go to the face now.' The hearing of 16 May 1956 (which had been adjourned from 18 April 1956) found in favour of Mr Dakin. |
