In receipt of a Disablement Gratuity but 'loss of faculty was reduced by subsequent medical boards and a final assessment of 7 per cent for life has been effective from 25th June 1954' Insurance officer submission included: ' It is not disputed that the claimant is unable to follow his regular occupation but an award of Special Hardship Allowance can only be made if the claimant's remuneration in his present occupation is less than that of his regular occupation'. Tribunal was cancelled - pencil note says 'NCB gave wrong figures- allowing £1 per week'. |
