Description
Twenty-six black and white photographs of Christmas parties organised for paraplegic miners in Derbyshire. The file includes several photographs of unidentified party attendees, a large photograph taken at the Ripley Miners' Welfare paraplegic Christmas party in 1964, and a group photograph taken at the Derbyshire Miners' Welfare Club for the Permanently Disabled. Many notable trade union figures feature in the photographs, such as Peter Heathfield, Herbert Parkin, Dennis Skinner and Bert Wynn.
