Title
Cave v Leslie
Date
1934
Description
In 1884 Gladwin Cloves Cave attempted (unsuccessfully) to establish his claim and recover possession of all the properties in the Hassop Estates in Derbyshire and Slindon in Sussex, which was formerly in the possession of his cousins, the last three Earls of Newburgh. The case dragged on for a quarter of a century and aroused a great deal of interest. In 1934 Cave’s papers were handed over to the Eyre family.
