| Administrative History | Daniel Parker Coke (1745-1825) was the son of the barrister Thomas Coke (1700-1776) and his wife Matilda (1706-1777), nee Goodwin, of Derby. He was a barrister and politician, MP for Derby 1776-1780, MP for Nottingham 1780-1812, chairman of Derbyshire Quarter Sessions until 1818. He died unmarried at The College, Derby, and is buried in All Saints, Derby. |
