Title
Articles of agreement between Thomas Clarke of Alfreton mason and Robert Revell of Carnfield. Clarke covenants that when the foundation is prepared he will erect at Carnfield a building as directed by Robert, not exceeding 5 yards from the groundwork to the square, at the rates set down in the accompanying table. Revell covenants to prepare the foundation and to find stone, brick, lime, sand, water, scaffolding, ropes etc (except that Clarke is to pay for all stone got upon the High Moor or East Moor). Proviso that Clarke shall not be obliged to slate or cover the building or do work other than that in the table.
