Custodial History
These records were deposited by Buxton Borough Council and its successor authorities in various deposits since 1973. Two 1861 rate books were donated to Derbyshire Record Office by a charity shop in January 2016. A further accession was received in November 2016. A small number of records were transferred from Buxton Museum in December 2022.
