Greaves; William (1807-1894); Son of Ann and William Greaves of Bakewell. Landlord of Old Bath Hotel, Matlock Bath, and later of the Rutland Arms, Bakewell.

Hudson; James (1805-1859); Son of Ann and William Hudson of the Rutland Arms, Bakewell; assistant secretary of the Royal Society.

Turner; Joseph Mallord William (1775-1851); English Romanticist landscape painter; although renowned for his oil paintings, Turner is also one of the greatest masters of British watercolour landscape painting. Visited Derbyshire, which features in many of his works.
