Description	VHS video in 5 sections: 1) Behind The Scenes: Archivist Paul Beattie filmed driving the record office van to survey and appraise records, subsequently performing accessioning, cataloguing and indexing; 2) An Introduction To The Search Room: Covers regulations for registration and search room use, featuring Administrator June Hambleton in the role of customer being shown the finding aids and instructed in use of a microfilm reader, map weights etc, by Search Room Supervisor Anne Lawley and Archivist Neil Bettridge. 3) Leaflets: Close-up shots of leaflets available at Derbyshire Record Office. 4) Conservation Department: Shots of conservation work in progress, including documents being cleaned. 5) Documents: images and descriptions of some of the oldest documents and most visually appealing items in the record office's collections.
