Lease and release by the duke of Dorset and the earl of Thanet to Ralph Samuel Kirk in consideration of £1317 of a messuage, stable, yard, garden, and croft, and the following parcels of land in Shirland: the Long Croft, the Carr, the Meadow by the Brook, and the Upper Close, tenant John Cupit (9 acres 1 rood 33 perches), and an allotment of common or waste (4 acres 25 perches), another allotment (14 acres 3 roods 13 perches), another allotment (27 acres 3 roods 16 perches); an allotment on Woolley Moor in the manor of Stretton (13 acres 3 roods 7 perches), another allotment on Woolley Moor (4 acres one rood 2 perches), and another allotment on Woolley Moor (6 acres one rood 14 perches), and of one third-part of a messuage, barn and yard, and of the following lands in the manor of Stretton: the close at the backside of the barn, the Middle Close, Little Close, the High Close, and the Meadow (8 acres 3 roods 33 perches).
