Further information: No unforeseen aggravation proven. From appeal statement: 'I have had a nervous breakdown and I cannot travel on buses. My grip is worse - I can hardly shave with it'. The claimant sent many letters relating to his disability and claim for compensation. Former address: 3 The Green, Clowne. Letter from NUM Compensation agent to NCB Medical Officer in 1969 states the miner had his employment terminated but as his employment cards had not been returned he was unable to obtain state benefits.
