Biography | Mingo was an enslaved African on the Turners Hall sugar plantation in Barbados, who first appears as a child in the records on 31 December 1759. Three Mingos appear on the 1771 list: two boys and one mule keeper. It is not clear which of them is this Mingo, but it is likely to be one of the boys. |
