Administrative History
The school was originally opened in 1841 as a National School. After the passing of the 1944 Education Act it became a Church of England controlled school. It closed in 1985 at the end of the summer term owing to a diminishing school roll.
Custodial History
The records were transferred to the Record Office in 1985.
