Description	The earliest boxes in this series contained loose plans of new buildings and streets submitted to the Council for approval. By the late 19th century the plans were submitted along with a notice of intent to build. After the Second World War the Council kept one file for each lodged plan, which also included applications, forms and correspondence. The plans have been sampled: items from the earliest box have been retained, as have all plans and files lodged in years ending 1 (1911, 1921 etc.) See also unlisted accession Aug 2016
