Includes various biblical passages and sermons. The volume also includes a letter from Samuel Michell of Endcliffe, Sheffield (a solicitor with antiquarian interests who accompanied Bateman on barrow digging exhibitions) of 15 January 1833. The letter makes reference to Thomas Bateman, a noted early archaeologist.
