Note: these Blackwall family papers include documents from families linked to the Blackwall family by marriage: in particular: Cheetham, Downing, Eaton and Evans. Note in particular that in 1871 John Blackwall Evans, (1837-1918), son of Charles Evans and his wife Emma (nee Blackwall), changed his name by deed poll to John Blackwall Evans Blackwall.
