Title
Deed of gift by way of a release by Robert Needham, gentleman of Perryfoot, Peak Forest (nephew and heir at law of the late Jasper Needham, gentleman of Rushop, p. Chapel en le Frith) in trust to William Bennett, gentleman of Chapel en le Frith for the use of Samuel Needham, gentleman (brother of Robert Needham) for ever. The property concerned is a farm at Rushop in Bowden Edge, p. Chapel en le Frith with the Crofts, the Over Field, the new limes piece, the little rough meadow, the further and nearer little fields, the Great meadow, the lower meadow and the Red land, comprising one neighbourship in Rushop, (11 acres of the Forest measure or 35 acres 1 rood 1 perch by Statute measure); a pew in Peak Forest Chapel; a farm with barn and cowhouse at Rushop with Yates Meadow, the rough grounds below the meadow and Sweet piece (38 acres 16 perches); and a moiety of a messuage at monyash with The Homestead and crofts, the two Tunsteads, the two Highlow furlong closes, the three moor pieces, the two white fields and the allotment of common land (41 acres).
