Title
Typescript letter from Ernest Axon to Charles Ogden
Date
30 Jan 1946
Description
Expresses thanks for Cooper extract and comments on Wilsha. Found Bentham review of interest and envies the amount of space given to it in the Manchester Guardian. Refers to a radio broadcast by E. M. Forster and to Mr Teeling, an M. P. Discusses his [Axon's} father's involvement in various organisations; the disposal of his books and his early advocacy of printing the B. M. catalogue. Mrs Axon enjoys the receipt of a fee when his work is published: for him the value is the evidence that he is not yet doddery. Ogden's offer to look up references should be limited to items about Buxton.
