Lease by William Buckley of Derby, gent, to Robert Lonte of Derby, tailor, of one messuage, burgage or tenement with app., one cottage, one barn, one croft and all other buildings etc. in a street called the Morledge and 1/2 a of meadow beyond the Derwent shooting into the river on the west, and five lands or leas with a piece of ground "gotten with the water of Derwent" lying in the field called the Round Willowe Field, and two cottages and two gardens in the Morledge in the occupation of Henry Mylner, and one other cottage and garden in the Morledge in the occupation of Robert Keye: for 23 years: for a "certain sum" and an annual rent of 33s 4d. 1 Oct 33 Elizabeth I [1591]
