Title
Bargain and sale by Thomas Gell of Middleton by Wirksworth, yeoman, to Edmund Spences of Middleton, miner, in consideration to £19 of the house and parlour now occupied by Spencer with one half of the gable whereon the chimneys are built (Spencer paying half the cost of maintaining the same) which premises where purchased by Gell from Ralph and Philip Gell his brothers, and were purchased by Ralph Gell from Mary Wigley als. Slack and others (as CT1-2) 17 July.
