| Description | Entry dated 31 May 1875 records notification by the School Board clerk that henceforth the Infants School would be administered as a separate department. Entry dated 5 Sep 1912 reads: "The Derwent Valley Waterworks were formally oppened and on this occasion a treat was given to the children of the work-people. Thus more than half of the scholars were absent from school". Final entry dated 30 Apr 1913 observes "removed to council school". Only 144 pages have been used. |
