Records of Sawley Charities (excluding Hacker Prizes or Rewards) comprising the combined charities founded by the wills of Thomas Hollingsworth (1675) Francis Hacker (1684) and Joseph Towle (1722). Details of Francis Hacker's will are given in D4618/1/2. The documents include deeds relating to some of the property owned by the charity, minutes of trustees' meetings, accounts, correspondence and other documents relating to the management of the estate and purposes of the charity.
