Title | Answer of James Longsdon, one of defendants to Bill of Complaint in Chancery of Alexander Crawford Bromehead and John Morewood. James admits that he with Revd John Barker and Horatio Mason is an executor of the will of George Gardom who died 22 June 1813, that they proved the will and are entitled to the share of George Gardom in the partnerhsip concern mentioned in the Bill. James denies interference in the matters mentioned in the Bill, being merely a trustee for Samuel George Gardom. He is a stranger to these matters, and claims no beneficial interest. He asks for costs and will do as the court directs. 3 June 1825 |
