Archive Creator	Parish of Breaston St Michael
Administrative History	Breaston was originally a township within the parish of Wilne. In 1719 it became a parochial chapelry and in 1868 a separate parish. The churchyard was consecrated for burials in 1822. The church itself was subject to three 19th-century restorations; details of those in 1871 and 1897 by Robert Evans are included in this collection.
Custodial History	These records were deposited at various dates beginning in April 1982. Further items (2225) were deposited by the Parish in January 2007. This list was added to the online catalogue with the assistance of Elissa Rowe.
