It has been assumed that he is the same Cubbenna recorded in the 1771 list as a cattle keeper. In 1780 he was recorded as 'with the cattle' (crossed through) and then as working in the third gang. In 1781, he was a mule keeper. Cubbenah was born in Barbados, and was the son of 'Short' Fibbah and sibling to Violet and Yannabah.
