Malcolm Laing bought Jenny from William Gray in 1769, along with her son, Quashy. Sarah and Quashy were sent to Grange Hill. In 1771 she was recorded as working in the fields, but also 'distempered' [suffering from an illness]. She is not recorded on the plantation in 1777, so may have died or been sold between 1771 and 1777.
