Codnor Church of England Schools comprised of: a Boys'; a Girls', and an Infants' school. The Girls and Infants schools combined in 1921 and the schools were finally merged in 1966 in the former Codnor secondary Modern School. The Infants School closed in August 1997 and a new Primary School opened in September.
