  <dc:description>Derbyshire County Council Corporate Property has a Design Services division. Until 2025, a major component of this was the Disability Design Team, which supported delivery of the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG), which draws on central government funds administered through district and borough councils, to provide adaptations to support eligible children and adults with disabilities to live independently in their own home. In December 2024, Derbyshire County Council's cabinet agreed to discontinue the discretionary activity of the Disability Design Team.</dc:description>
