Deposit Files For each collection a deposit file is created. Each file contains the original receipt for individual accession/s, and any relevant correspondence with the donor or depositor about the material. The files are arranged by the 'D' reference number, with the exception of files relating to Anglican parishes which are arranged alphabetically. There are also partial deposit files under references beginning 'XM', which refer to microfilms obtained by Derbyshire Record Office prior to July 2008. The deposit files do not relate to material, including microfilms, originally obtained by the Local Studies Library prior to the merger of the two services in January 2013. 1906-
