<dc:title>Borough/Borowe family of Hulland and Derby</dc:title>
<dc:description>The majority of these papers are drafts and other legal papers mostly created by a Shropshire law firm employed by the Borough family. The papers are predominantly concerned with the sale of much of the Litchurch property in connection with the building of Derby Railway Station in the 1830s and 1840s. The papers also refer to the commutation of the tithes of Musden Grange in the 1840s and early 1850s, and to legal moves arising from the appointment of trustees of the late Thomas Borough's will and affecting the Hulland estates.</dc:description>
