  <dc:title>Copy letter 1750 from Wm Lockett, Minister of St Michael's, Derby, to the Bishop of Lichfield - St Michael's was originally a  vicarage but has been immemorably sequestered for want of sufficient income to maintain a vicar, and has been cared for by the vicar of St Werburgh's - has never received £7pa from St Michael's - the vicar originally held the tithe corn of Alvaston but this was commuted to a payment of £3 pa following a quarrel between the inhabitants and the abbot of Darley (1499)</dc:title>
