Attached to front endpaper are a newscutting from "The Times" on a letter about the recent deaths of Mrs McNeile and Mrs Charles Alexander (both sisters of Admiral Fremantle) and a letter written by C.I. Alexander of Linville, Priory Road, Great Malvern, to Mrs Gell, informing her that his Aunt Emmy (Mrs McNeile) had left her in her will a Roman mosaic given to her by Admiral Sir Charles Freemantle, 21 March 1929</dc:description>
