Letter from John Philip Gell to his wife Eleanor Isabella Gell, during his stay in Dorset for meetings of clergymen He asks Eleanor to let Bolton know that Hansard is coming and that it would be prudent for him to have a sermon ready for Sunday evening. He talks of the people being of the right sort and the meetings going well. He has been invited to stay at Mr Mansell of Church Knowle’s parsonage next summer, close to the coast.
