  <dc:description>Items found in a reused envelope addressed to Mr J G Sanderson, Hardwick Mount, Buxton postmarked 1898.  [The envelope was not contemporary with the documents and has been disposed of]:

(i) Letter from Charles Harris[?] to his parents, written from Devonshire House [London] referring to the Duke [of Devonshire] continuing at Brighton and discussing Charles's ill health.  Continued underneath, a letter to Hannah [Redfearn]  from her father, Robert Marsden, saying that her mother is not able to visit as she has to rub a medical preparation onto his arm two or three times a day. [?1850s]

(ii) Lock of brown hair, found inside letter but not related to the contents

(iii) Printed sheet, very crumpled and torn: 'Copy of a letter written by our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ' [18th cent]</dc:description>
