Agreement between 1. James Boden of Lichfield portrait painter and Catherine his wife and 2. Edward Anthony Holden of Aston esquire for Bodens to sell and Holden to buy premises as in D779/T/6/19/23, subject to the life estate of Ann Robinson Eyre For £300 at the execution of the conveyance and £50 on the decease of Ann Robinson Eyre, on which £50 Holden will pay interest at 5% during Ann Robinson Eyre's life, it being intended as an indemnity to Holden against the breaking up into tillage a garden ground of the land, in which case the £50 or part thereof may be used as compensation for injury done to the land.
