  <dc:description>Reciting that Charles Pagett, who has been attainted of high treason by the name of Charles Pagett of Weston upon Trent esquire, by his indenture dated 29 July 19 Elizabeth [1577] leased to Richard Thorneton then his servant a messuage and 2 virgates of land in Weston in the tenure of John Nicholson, in reversion of a lease dated 18 October 1 Elizabeth I [1559] to Humphrey Betely for 21 years at rent of 27s., that Thorneton's right being enjoyed by William Hall, the latter has surrendered it to the Queen, in consideration of which and for 54s. paid by Hall, she leased to Hall the messuage and 2 virgates in Weston, recently in the tenure of John Nicholson and now of Hall, and parcel of the manor of Weston, recently parcel of Paget's possessions, reserving wood, mines, quarries, for 21 years at 27s. rent, with suit to manor of Weston, tenant to repair and to have house-, hedge -, fire -, plough - and cartbote, and ?timber for repair of buildings.</dc:description>
