Papers of Joseph and Thomas Kirk [brothers to Peter] Joseph and Thomas Kirk worked in their father's business at Dove Holes Meadows Farm. Joseph died on the farm, unmarried, in 1896. Thomas married Elizabeth Bramwell of Laneside Farm in 1869. Although she died shortly afterwards following the birth of their only surviving son, Arnold Kirk. Thomas died in 1905, with Arnold carrying on the farm. He and his wife, Elizabeth, kept the farm at Dove Holes until 1930. [1830s]
